A knife designed by Kiku Matsuda that locks up harder than most folders you've carried — 1,500 lbs of force before the XR crossbar lock gives.

Why You'll Like It

  • XR crossbar lock rated to withstand up to 1,500 lbs of force, well beyond normal field use
  • Compound grind: hollow-ground primary edge for slicing, flat-ground tip for strength when you need to pry or puncture
  • Reversible, tip-up deep-carry pocket clip for either-hand carry
  • CPM-3V steel holds an edge through heavy use without being difficult to resharpen in the field

Best For

Hunters and outdoorsmen who want a flagship folder that can double as a hard-use tool, not just an EDC pocketknife.

Details

4" modified tanto CPM-3V satin blade with a linen Micarta handle, designed by Kiku Matsuda as a larger version of the classic Kiku XR.

Good to Know

CPM-3V is a tool steel prized for toughness, not a stainless steel — wipe it down after wet use to prevent corrosion.
