A deliberately small fixed blade — built for the close, controlled cuts of field dressing rather than as a general-purpose camp knife.

Why You'll Like It

  • 2.79" CPM-S30V drop-point blade holds an edge through multiple animals before it needs touching up
  • Short blade gives you real control for caping and detail work around the hide
  • Stabilized wood handle warms in the hand and won't get slick the way polished synthetics can
  • Full-tang construction with no lock to fail or fill with hair and blood
  • Leather belt sheath with a snap retention strap included

Best For

Whitetail and big-game field dressing, caping, and any job where a 4" blade is more knife than you actually want.

Details & good to know

Details

Fixed-blade hunting knife from Benchmade's Hunt series. 2.79" CPM-S30V stainless drop-point blade at 58-60 HRC, stabilized wood scales, 2.81 oz, made in Oregon City, Oregon. Ships with a leather sheath.

Good to Know

S30V is a premium stainless steel — it takes a keener edge than the 8Cr/440-series steels on budget hunters, but it rewards a proper sharpener rather than a pull-through. Covered by Benchmade's LifeSharp free factory sharpening service for the life of the knife.
